After announcing several ranks based BlackBerry BlackBerry OS 7 some time ago, seems RIM is preparing a new version of the weapon smartphone QNX-based gadgets.

Superphone first device that runs the QNX operating system that has the codename BlackBerry Colt. This source also said that the Colt running with single core processors and some of the experiments being conducted at this time so it is possible specifications of the processors used Colt will change when released later.

Superphone seems also not to use the BlackBerry Enterprise Server service, just like on the BlackBerry Playbook. To cover up this weakness RIM adds Microsoft Exchange services through Microsoft ActiveSync that will directly run from the start.

BlackBerry Colt is scheduled to present at the first quarter of 2012 and is currently preparing Software Verification team for mentest such devices to ensure all applications can run smoothly.
