Review Asus RT-N56U

Design is quite unique, RTN56U Asus offers excellent performance and complete feature behind a slim appearance.

Wireless router Asus RT-N56U was performed with a slightly different design from most other wireless routers. Wireless routers with the nickname "Black Diamond" was performed with a sleek vertical design, with a style somewhat diagonally to form triangles. The unique design of black on the wireless router is still added a touch of diamond-cut pattern on the front.

At the front, there are indicator lights as much as six. The lights that emit a blue light indicator is an indicator that shows the currently active services such as LAN and wireless, as well as the activities of the wireless router. The lights represent the network frequency (2.4 GHz & 5 GHz), WAN, LAN, USB, and resources.

Looking to the back, the wireless router RT-N56U Asus has some basic common ports found on most wireless routers. There are five RJ45 ports, one for WAN, and the remaining four to the LAN. Throughout the RJ45 port is already supporting gigabit ethernet connection. Also available is also two USB ports that can be connected to the storage media or other devices such as printers. Unfortunately the USB port can not be used for the HSDPA modem for not supporting these features.

Asus RT-N56U is equipped with a wireless connection with the 802.11n standard is capable of generating a data flow speed up to 300 Mbps. Asus RT-N56U can work simultaneously on two frequencies, namely 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. To save space and enhance the appearance, the wireless router is using the internal antenna design and has no external antenna.

To use the Asus RT-N56U, you can directly conduct a standard setting on your network and enter the wireless router control panel by typing the IP address in the browser. Default IP address on the unit we tested is http://192.168.1.1 .
